Having a boat on Lake of the Woods is like being in heaven. This lake is loaded with trophy Walleye, Muskie, Bass, Crappie, Northern Pike, Perch, Lake Trout, and more. The variety of species here is an angler's dream, and giant fish roam these waters. It's one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world and from our resort you have easy access to both Minnesota and Canadian waters.

We Guide Hunters Too

We offer guided hunts for black bear, waterfowl, deer and wolves. We have guides on staff and work closely with the best independent guides on both sides of the border. You can even hunt waterfowl and catch fish the same day - ask about the Cast & Blast package.

Our guided ice fishing trips provide a unique experience geared towards the avid angler. We offer heated permanent houses on both the Minnesota (and Ontario sides ice fishing is big crappie and lake trout in CA). We have 2, 4 and 6 man house options available. There is no doubt that you will hook in to monster crappie, perch, northern and walleyes. Our Ice house rentals include heated transportation to and from the house each day via Bombardier. On the Minnesota side, bait is complimentary with a house rental.

Like to fish on your own? No worries! We would love to sit down a minute a point out a few places to save you some time finding fish as well as areas to avoid due to high current and unsafe for travel. Just ask and we will pull out the map!
